In first of essay, the central issue is to be addressed and one has to declare through his writing if he favours it or opposes. Needless to say, but one has to stress upon relevant examples and cases supporting his arguments.  Argument Essay, secondly, one would need to present a critical analysis by shedding light upon reasons behind it and candidates would have to assess and base such literary presentation on sound logic.

3   3)      Verbal Reasoning:

In this, there are presented 2 verbal sections, comprising 20 questions each while one has 30 minutes to complete it with max score can be obtained is 170. Thence, the GRE verbal section has following types of questions, such as:

  • Sentence Equivalence Questions: It comprises of a single sentence with a blank and six options to be chosen as answers and candidates have to opt for two of the choices as answers. However, students must prepare pretty well as there is not given any credit for a partially correct answer.

  • Text Completion: Such questions have a passage comprising one to five sentences and with one to three blanks. Following this are three answer choices per each blank or five answer options are there if there is a one blank only. The correct answer is single consisting of one choice against each blank. Again, no compliments for any partially correct answers.

  • Reading Comprehension Based Questions:

Under this special category, there are given three types of Reading Comprehension questions.

  •  Questions based upon multiple choices. Again, there are five answer choices and correct option is to be checked.

  •  Questions based upon multiple Choices. Here, one has to opt for one or more correct choices. To be precise, there are provided three answer choices and students have to select all that seem correct option(s) to them. Again, no prizes for partially correct answers.
  • Select In Passage: Under such category, students need to click on the sentences of a passage which satisfy certain conditions as required in the question.
